Mourinho Enjoying Return To Premier League

José Mourinho has stated that he has enjoyed his return to the Premier league despite not winning any major trophy this year. The Portuguese boss is set to end his second consecutive year without a trophy, as the blues dropped out of contention for the league title and the Champions League in the final few weeks of the season. Mourinho came back to Chelsea with big expectations. He also tried to implement a lot of new things at the club. However, they will be only finishing third in the table for all their hard work.

Mourinho, though, sees this as a major improvement from the last campaigns. Chelsea struggled to finish in the top four for the last two seasons, despite winning the Champions League, Europa league, and FA Cup during this period.
Mourinho has confirmed that the club will not be celebrating their third place finish and also reaching the semifinals of the Champions League. Instead, the club will be starting the rebuilding work for the next campaign immediately.

BA SCORES FOR CHELSEA

Chelsea striker Demba Ba proved that the strikers at the club are more than capable of scoring goals with his late effort against Paris St Germain in the Champions League quarter-finals.

This late goal helped the blues get to the semifinals 3-3 on aggregate, but they have progressed due to the away goals. For long periods of the match, it looked like Chelsea would be unable to get the crucial second goal that would put them in the semifinals. Andre Schurrle had given the club the lead in the first half.

COSTA LOTTA

Athletic Madrid’s Diego Costa has been one of the standout players in La Liga this season as he is one of the top goal-scorers on the Spanish League along with Lionel Messi and C.Ronaldo as well as being one of the most fundamental and important players for his club which has helped them on not only being at the top of the league but getting into the next stages of the Champions League where they now have to face off against PSG.

MIND GAMES

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has also joined in the mind games after suggesting that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is correct when he says that Manchester City are the favourites for the title.

Mourinho has been maintaining throughout this season that City remain as the favourites for the title since they have the strongest squad in the division. Even though Pellegrini’s men have fallen nine points behind table leaders Chelsea, this admission by the Chelsea boss has been viewed with suspect by many.

HAZARD STAYING

The manager of Chelsea, Jose Mourinho, has rubbished off the reports that Eden Hazard might be making his way to Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the ongoing season.
Mourinho has also made it clear that he doesn’t have plans to put any of his players on sale.

Hazard had been brought to Stamford Bridge about one and half years ago. Chelsea had paid a transfer fee speculated to be around 40 million Pounds to Lille for securing his services and Mourinho reckons that the winger is a far better player now than what he was back then. So, his value at the moment would probably be out of the reach of most of the clubs.

Chelsea playmaker Oscar close to join Real Madrid

Oscar, the Chelsea playmaker, has stated that he almost agreed a contract with Spanish giants Real Madrid. The talented Brazilian footballer signed for Chelsea before the beginning of the past season in a huge money contract and has since that time he has become a fans’ favorite at the London club.

He, however, stated that the move almost did not happen following a preliminary dialogues with the Spanish giants.
According to reports, while speaking to a leading Brazilian magazine, h e told that a month before signing for the London club, he was close to doing so with Real Madrid. But Mourinho told him that he wanted him in the team. They came to watch him in some matches but they had the playmaker spot well covered and he then signed for Chelsea.
